We have an exciting opportunity for current students (UG/PG) to join us as Student Content Coordinators. In this role, you will share various aspects of your experiences at UWE Bristol (such as your course, being part of campus and Bristol communities, getting career ready, support, and many other things), through creative writing (blogs), vlogging and other media, to support the student recruitment campaigns.
You will be involved in generating ideas and content that is interesting to our target audiences and delivering content that can work across our website, including blogs, video content and social posts including participating in Facebook Live Q&As, Snapchat takeovers and Instagram Stories.
For a full description of the role, please see the attached job description above.
About UWE
We are a well-established university with over 30,000 students, 250,000 alumni and 3,800 staff. UWE Bristol is one of the largest providers of Higher Education in the South West; we are globally connected and regionally embedded, with strong employer and partner connections.
Students join us from all over the UK as well as from another 140 countries, making this a diverse, dynamic and interesting place to work and study. We achieved an impressive 88% overall student satisfaction in the most recent National Student Satisfaction survey, placing us 11th of all UK universities for overall student satisfaction and 7th of all universities in England. We have also achieved TEF Gold status and The Guardian has placed us in the top 30 Universities in the UK.
Bristol itself is a hub of social and cultural activity and is a big pull for students and employers alike. A place with a strong, creative and fiercely independent mindset. A city with a buzzing music scene, great restaurants and interesting business ventures. It's not surprising Bristol is consistently named as one of the best places to live and work in the UK.
Location: This post is based across all our lively campuses where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give our students access to everything they need to succeed - with GBP 300m having been spent recently on new state-of-the-art learning spaces and accommodation to enhance our offer even further.
