UWE Bristol students from all years, courses and campuses are invited to apply. The role is not restricted to Frenchay Campus.
We are looking for students who are enthusiastic about representing their course and University. The role involves a high level of customer service - no prior work experience is necessary, but you must be keen to work with a sales and customer service focus.
You must be committed to the shifts you accept and a reliable worker.
Student Ambassadors are current UWE students who are employed as casual workers to represent the University.
Student Ambassadors act as positive role models to give a first-hand view of the benefits of higher education and to represent UWE Bristol at a variety of different events and locations (on campus or in schools/colleges/community settings) in support of UWE's marketing and recruitment & outreach strategies.
Work undertaken by Student Ambassadors is flexible and fits around your studies.
Student Ambassadors are casual workers, and as a casual worker - the Student Ambassador Scheme is not obliged to offer you any work nor are you obliged to accept any.
To apply for this role you must complete an application form by the stated deadline.
In the application you will need to answer 3 questions:
Q1) Think of a time you have delivered excellent customer service - How did you engage with the person and what was the outcome?
Q2) Think of a time when you have worked as part of a team - How did you work together to achieve a goal?
Q3) Think of a time you have encouraged someone - What communication methods did you use with them and what was the outcome?

Interviews for this recruitment round will take place during March 2020.
Training for this recruitment round will take place during March, April and May 2020. You only need to attend one training session.
There will be further Student Ambassador Recruitment drives throughout the 2019/2020 academic year. The next application period will run later in 2020 - so you can apply at that point if you're not available during this current recruitment drive.
If you apply in a recruitment round you need to ensure you are available for interview/training on the dates stated below. Applications cannot be transferred to another recruitment/interview round.
* On receiving applications the team will shortlist against the core questions asked in the application.
* If you are successful at shortlisting you will be invited to attend a group interview. Details for the interview will then be sent to you in order to prepare.
* If successful at interview, you will be required to attend a mandatory training session.
Key Dates
* Deadline for applications: Midnight Sunday 16 February 2020
* Interviews will take place between: 17 - 26 March 2020
* Training will take place on multiple dates throughout March, April and May 2020 (you only need to attend one date).
