The position is part of the Centre for Digital Engineering Technology & Innovation (DETI), a strategic programme created to develop and accelerate digital engineering across multiple industry sectors, delivered by the National Composites Centre.
The main objective of this role is to address the lack of strategic approach in integrating manufacturing knowledge in the design and innovation process. More specifically, this project seeks to inject knowledge, rooted in the patent database and other knowledge sources, into the engineering practice.

This is a full time, fixed term post until June 2022 and is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.
