The Children and Young Peoples’ Nursing provision at UWE enjoys a positive partnership with many practice partners, which has been built over many years. Integral to the Future Nurse programme, is co-production with CYP, their families and service users in the development and delivery of the programme. As an active member of the team, you will have the opportunity to develop and contribute to your own CPD portfolio and the wider aspiration of UWE.
The Faculty of Health and Applied Science success is built upon learning activities and opportunities that enhance the student experience and journey through innovative teaching, learning and assessment strategies. You will contribute to both pre and postgraduate learning disability nursing and those from other fields of nursing and allied professionals.
You will be passionate, motivated and have a strong contemporary clinical practice background and experience in teaching and assessment in higher education or clinical practice. Knowledge of the contemporary theories and concepts that underpin CYP Nursing practice as well as the wider nursing fields is essential. Additionally, you must be registered and practising as a Children and Young Peoples Nurse and possess strong evidence of continued professional development in health/education related subjects. This is a permanent post and is part-time working on a 50% contract. This post requires enhanced DBS clearance.
The University will be implementing a hybrid way of working once restrictions from Covid 19 end, therefore you will be expected to come onto campus to work for part of your working week. Exact days to be agreed with your manager.
