Research, Business and Innovating (RBI) supports, develops and enhances the University's ambitions for research, professional development and business engagement. This dynamic service supports the university in its ambitions to deliver excellent research with real-world impact, building on our strengths, prioritising challenge-based research and enhancing the student experience.
RBI is seeking to appoint a Bid Developer and Writer who will advise and support University staff in the establishment, development and delivery of Research and Knowledge Exchange activity, including research, consultancy and CPD. With a specific focus on developing research in the Social Sciences by supporting the development of grant applications to funders including the Economic and Social Research Council, Arts and Humanities Research Council, Leverhulme Trust and British Academy.
We are seeking to appoint a person, who is alert and responsive to the social science grand challenges and funding calls in diverse domains such as mental health and wellbeing, climate change resilience, inclusivity and social justice, prosperity and growth and improving educational outcomes, who can work to bring together new networks within the university.
