About us: UWE Bristol’s Business and Management department are a vibrant, growing team, engaging in a broad range of scholarly activities and research. We are seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in work-based learning to join our Organisation Studies (OS) cluster, to support the on-going delivery of our Apprenticeships provision and other practice-based learning.
Our cluster covers Leadership, Change Management, The Effects of Organisations on People, Apprenticeships, Enterprise and Innovation and Coaching & Mentoring.
Our colleagues in OS contribute to teaching across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the wider Faculty of Business and Law. You will also make a significant contribution to the organisation and teaching activities of the group at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
About you: To flourish in the role, you will be confident, outgoing and comfortable working as part of a teaching team on small, medium and sometimes interdisciplinary modules, as well as independently on other specialist modules.
You will have a sufficient depth and currency of specialist knowledge in the subject, ideally with the ability to contribute to other related subject areas within the cluster. You can demonstrate a commitment to teaching, to engage and inspire students in a variety of academic settings, to design innovative teaching materials using a technology engaged approach.

This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed – £300m has been invested recently on new state-of-the-art learning spaces and accommodation while we continue to develop incredible new facilities to enhance our offer even further.
Frenchay campus has excellent transport links; as well as being located near the motorway network we are within walking distance of two train stations, our bus terminus connects us to the local bus and metrobus network and we also have a range of cycling and changing facilities.
