About us: This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and focused researcher to gain experience of working on a large-scale research project: 'UK Feature Docs: Studying the Feature Documentary Film Industry'. Funded with a grant from the Arts & Humanities Research Council, the project aims to map and historicise the UK's feature documentary film industry, explore its relationship with the broader film and television industries, and analyse the challenges it faces in the contemporary period.
About you: You are an engaged and proactive researcher with a both a developed awareness of the current UK film and television landscape, and a keen understanding of its recent history. You will have experience of qualitative (mostly interviews) data analysis and be experienced in desk-based research. The post also includes an opportunity for archival research, and to support the delivery of the final project conference.
