About us: The International Office (IO) are responsible for supporting student recruitment from around the world by providing relevant and up-to-date information around our course structures, entry and admissions, working collaboratively with our partners, agent networks, schools and students directly.
Working with wider University services and the faculty, the IO will plan, implement and deliver a range of events and activities both in the UK and overseas to ensure the University meets its international student recruitment targets.
About the role: The International Office at UWE, Bristol is seeking to appoint an International Officer on a fixed term basis (12 months). The post holder will support the Regional Manager (Middle East & North Africa) in the achievement of international student recruitment targets for the region. The post will involve travel within the Middle East and North Africa
This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed - £300m has been invested recently on new state-of-the-art learning spaces and accommodation while we continue to develop incredible new facilities to enhance our offer even further.
Frenchay campus has excellent transport links; as well as being located near the motorway network we are within walking distance of two train stations, our bus terminus connects us to the local bus and metrobus network and we also have a range of cycling and changing facilities.
About you: The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience of working within a customer service or sales focused environment. They should be able to work well under pressure in a fast moving and target driven environment. Candidates should have marketing, recruitment or admissions experience in an educational environment with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
They should demonstrate the ability to analyse, manipulate and interpret data, to produce detailed reports, which support decision making around activity, conversion and product development.

This is a full time, fixed term post working 37 hours a week until 31st October 2022 or prior to the return of the post holder.
