The requirements for university buildings is constantly changing and this role includes working with varying requests, balancing the needs of the individual faculties with the needs of the university as a whole. New technology and new methods of teaching mean that every project moves the university forward to ensure we are always providing the best possible spaces for our students to learn. At the heart of everything we do is the desire to provide students with everything they need to develop through their degrees, covering all aspects of university life from accommodation, to catering areas, to social and sporting facilities. As the campus is home to students for most of the year each campus must provide both students and staff with everything they could need. Joining the Estates team means working closely with every element of UWE as the campuses change and adapt to the needs of each individual.
