About us: The Accommodation department consists of a number of bespoke teams: Accommodation Managers, who look after the buildings and residents, Reception staff who are the face of the department and a team of administration staff. This role manages the team of 9 administrative staff who are responsible for the allocation of 5,500 student rooms, and subsequent administration related to students living in accommodation.
The role is a mix of people management and IT systems management, specifically relating to the accommodation department.
As an important member of the Accommodation Management Team, you will also be involved in shaping the department, making improvements and streamlining processes as we head towards 2023 when we will have an additional 900 rooms on campus.
About you: We are looking for a strong, motivational people manager, who also has the knowledge and aptitude to manage the complexities of our IT systems. Experience of managing databases is important as is the ability to identify problems and following through to resolve those with the appropriate support teams. An organised and structured approach will be essential. You will have a wide range of administrative experience in customer focussed environments.
We are looking for someone who will go the extra mile to help and support our student residents, whilst understanding business needs and constraints.
