About us: The department comprises four subject clusters. This post will be located within the Strategy and Operations Management (SOM) cluster, which also covers International Business, Information Management and Enterprise. The post holder will join a vibrant and growing team who are engaged in a broad range of scholarly activities and research. With support and guidance from more senior academic colleagues, Assistant Support Lecturers will develop proficiency in their teaching, learning and assessment practice in a supportive environment and through personal reflection and feedback. They will also provide academic and administrative support to the teaching team and contribute to an enhanced experience to students.
About you: The nature of the subject group’s teaching means that candidates should be confident, outgoing and ready to work with teaching teams on large and sometimes interdisciplinary modules, as well as on smaller, specialist, modules. They will also be able to develop and academic support sessions to students to help them succeed in their studies.
