We are seeking to appoint 2 Technical Assistants on a fixed term contract to provide technical support, within the R Block workshops and the City Center JISC Building, based in the School of Architecture and the Built Environment in the College of Arts, Technology and Environment
Working autonomously but with backing from an established technical team, successful candidates will provide advice and support to students in the laser cutting facilities; fulfilling all cutting requests for students within the department.
You will work a minimum of 4 hours per week. You will complete/submit time sheets and you will be paid a month in arrears. You will not be required to work over the Christmas period but will be expected to complete shifts over the Easter vacation time.
Shortlisted candidates will have vital experience of working within a workshop environment, as a student or otherwise, with knowledge and experience of using laser-cutting equipment and software.

These are part-time, fixed-term post until 23 June 2023, working a minimum of 4 hours per week.
