We are a small, dynamic and fast-paced team working in an exciting and strategically important part of the student experience, dedicated to supporting the transition, increased academic confidence and wellbeing, and progression of students new to the University.
PAL normally takes the form of regular, timetabled group study sessions or workshops led by PAL Leaders. These sessions provide opportunities for student participants to consolidate their understanding of a discipline and develop their study skills and resilience within a safe and collaborative environment. Leaders scaffold and support sessions to ensure learners make the most of their time together.
