About the role: The Human Resource Management (HRM) subject group sits within the Department of Business and Management and we are seeking an academic who can contribute fully to departmental activities, including teaching, research and external engagement.
The focus of this role is to deliver outstanding learning outcomes for our students through exceptional teaching and learning on academic programmes, within the department and to engage in research and other activities that enhance and inform teaching design and curriculum development.
We deliver an innovative practice-led curriculum at UWE Bristol and have a range of well-established stakeholder engagement activities regionally, nationally and internationally.
About you: You should hold a postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably a PhD (or be close to completion) and be committed to teaching and research. You will join a vibrant and growing HRM team comprising 27 academic members of staff and will be expected to make a significant contribution to teaching activities of the group at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
We particularly welcome applicants with proven ability to teach and lead in the areas of HRM/HR practice, people analytics, reward, or learning and development.
The nature of the subject group's teaching means that you should be confident, outgoing and comfortable working as part of a teaching team on large modules as well as independently on specialist HRM modules. Where is this role based?
