About us: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the University’s Research Business and Innovation (RBI) Team, enabling the delivery of UWE Bristol’s new Skills for Clean Growth (Workforce for the Future) Programme.
Skills for Clean Growth is a new programme of support for businesses in the West of England, launching in September 2021. It is led by UWE Bristol, in partnership with NatWest and is funded by the West of England Combined Authority’s (WECA’s) Workforce for the Future fund.
Skills for Clean Growth will help the West of England deliver its vision to drive clean and inclusive growth across the region, empowering SMEs to evaluate their low carbon status and identify the skills required to plan and implement clean business practices and behaviours.
About you: As Skills Development Manager you will ensure that SMEs can access a variety of green skills development. You will help develop new sector-specific skills content for Clean Growth Toolkit workshops, modules and programmes e.g. zero carbon leadership; creating sustainable behavioural change; innovation and clean growth; and zero carbon logistics and supply chains.
We are looking for a skills/learning development professional with experience designing and overseeing delivery to SMEs. You will be a self-starter with first class written and analytical skills, and share our ambition for achieving the region’s net zero goals.
